This holiday giving season, The Toy Foundation™ (TTF) is inspiring new and existing donors to give back to children in need by launching its first-ever Holiday Gift Catalog. The Gift Catalog features items benefiting TTF’s Toy Chest and Play Fund programs that will deliver the comfort, joy, and extraordinary benefits of play to children in under-resourced communities, schools, and hospitals.

“The toy industry is an incredibly generous industry year-round, and especially so during the holidays. We hope our Holiday Gift Catalog inspires new and existing donors to support The Toy Foundation’s work providing children opportunities to play when they need it most,” said Pam Mastrota, executive director of TTF.

The Gift Catalog is an easy way for both individuals and companies to join together to make an impactful difference through play. Gift items will directly support Toy Chest, which delivers brand-new toys to children worldwide, and Play Fund, which distributes funds to support play projects in children’s hospitals and in response to a natural disaster. Suggested contributions range from $25 to $2,500, with opportunities to donate any amount.

Featured gift items include:

Toy Chest:

• Toys for the Holidays – Support deliveries of toys to nonprofit organizations serving under-resourced communities during the holiday season.
• Learning through Play – Support deliveries of toys to classrooms and after-school programs serving under-resourced communities.

Play Fund: 

• Children’s Comfort Kit – Fund the creation of comfort kits filled with play tools that support positive thoughts, lower anxiety levels, and build confidence.
• Hospital Playroom Upgrade – Help fund playroom upgrades to make them fun, welcoming spaces that are inclusive for all patients.

Additionally, contributors can give the Gift of Play to a Child in Need to provide unrestricted funds to TTF that will support the distribution of toys and funding of play projects worldwide. Once a gift is complete, all are invited to take a moment on the thank you page to write a heartfelt message for a child who will be directly impacted by your support.
