Toy Association’s Advocacy Work Highlighted on “Back in Session” Podcast

January 5, 2024 | The Toy Association™ and several of its 2024 advocacy initiatives, including its involvement in updating the ASTM F963 Toy Standard, leading the modernization of Pennsylvania’s “Stuffed Toy” law, tracking Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws in several states, and more, were featured on the latest episode of the “Back in Session” podcast.

Charlotte Hickcox, director of state government affairs at The Toy Association, discussed how the Association works at the three levels of government — state, federal, and international — to protect its members’ ability to do business in a fair regulatory environment. Some of the priority topics the Association is tracking this year include children’s online safety and data privacy bills, chemical reporting regulation, trade, environmental issues, and more.
