Recipe for Fun!
Here’s a twist on a classic. The youngest player gets to be the “rabbit” first. Have the other children kneel in a circle. The rabbit hops (yes, hops) around the outside of the circle. Choosing one child in the circle, the rabbit taps that child on the shoulder. That child has to chase the rabbit around the ring – both hopping! – and try to tag him or her before the rabbit can kneel down in the child's space. If the rabbit succeeds, the other child becomes the new rabbit. Otherwise, the original rabbit goes again.
