Toy Fair® Checklist: Mark these Upcoming Deadlines

toy-fairJune 23, 2023 | The global toy community is preparing to reunite this fall in New York City at the reimagined Toy Fair®, taking place September 30 to October 3 at the Javits Center. With more than 900 exhibiting companies and globally renowned retailers registered, the event will offer new exposure and business opportunities for all – from first-time exhibitors and up-and-coming international companies looking to enter the U.S. market, to buyers, press, and the inventor community.

Whether you’re an exhibitor or attendee, make sure to cross the following items off your Toy Fair checklist:

Creative Factor Inventor Day: Extended Deadline to Apply – July 14
Toy inventors and designers are invited to apply for a chance to pitch their ideas directly to top toy professionals and manufacturing partners at Creative Factor Inventor Day, taking place October 3. Applications are open until the extended deadline of Friday, July 14 and anyone interested in applying is required to submit an online form and a 90-second video. Selected participants will be notified by August 1.

Trade Guest Discount – Reduced Rate Available until July 31
Trade guests, including marketing and entertainment executives, inventors, publishers, brand owners, and other toy industry-adjacent professions, are recommended to register for a Toy Fair badge by July 31 to save $100 on admission. Trade guests will have access to all four days of the show, including all Toy Fair University sessions, and will be able to make appointments with exhibiting companies with the Map Your Show platform.

Secure Your Hotel – Book ASAP to Avoid Disappointment
Secure your accommodations with the best availability and rates for Toy Fair by booking your preferred hotel as soon as possible using the show’s designated room block. While the block is available until September 8, rooms are filling up rapidly and some have already sold out.

There’s Still Time to Exhibit – Limited Space Available in Some Areas
Exhibit space is limited but still available in areas including Toy Fair’s Launch Pad, the show’s dedicated space for first-time exhibitors featuring up-and-coming toy inventors, and international companies interested in expanding their products to the U.S. Companies are encouraged to act fast and contact their account executive: Simon Yung (A–G); Stacy Liebensohn (H–P); or Michael Lynch (Q–Z).

Questions about applications for Creative Factor Inventor Day may be directed to Jacqueline Retzer, The Toy Association’s director of event management.
